Real rates from real brokered loads across Southern African lanes. No survey, no self-reported numbers — every data point is a load that actually moved.
Every rate "report" available today is a survey of what people say they pay. Ours is built from executed loads through our own freight desk — the rate, the lane, the equipment, the transit time, from deals we papered ourselves.
Lane medians by equipment type (dry van, tautliner, reefer, tanker), updated as loads complete. Domestic triangle first, cross-border corridors as they accumulate volume.
Carrier names, shipper names, exact rates of individual loads. Only aggregates publish. Counterparty confidentiality is the whole business.
An index with thin data is worse than no index — it anchors people to wrong numbers. We publish a lane only when the sample behind it is real. Watch this page.
When the first index publishes, email subscribers get it first. Ask to be on the list — no cost, no spam, one email when there's something real to send.
The desk is live even while the index builds. Post a load, or ask what a lane is running at — we'll tell you what we've seen this week.
